The City of Lakewood is home to talented artists, thriving cultural organizations and diverse community celebrations. The city's arts and culture facilities — Lakewood Cultural Center, Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park and Washington Heights Arts Center — house classes, exhibits, tours and a myriad of special events. Lakewood also hosts beautiful public art installations located throughout the city.

Lakewood Cultural Center

Located at 470 S. Allison Pkwy.
The city's arts and culture hub offers a 320-seat theater, rotating art exhibits, meeting and event spaces, cultural arts classes and a beautiful lobby space.

Heritage Lakewood

Located at 801 S. Yarrow St.
A 20th century history park, museum and festival experience that celebrates our community. Attend a program or event, view some of the 40,000 artifacts or rent a space.

Washington Heights Arts Center

Located at 6375 W. 1st Ave.
Lakewood's arts center offers a variety of classes and workshops for all ages and abilities. Programs include pottery, drawing, painting, weaving, jewelry and more.

M-TH: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
F: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Sa: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Su: 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Exhibitions and Public Art

The City of Lakewood has five exhibit galleries which host permanent and rotating art and historic exhibitions. All exhibits are free to the public during regular business hours.
