Charles Whitlock Pool
The pool is closed.
The city is working to reopen the Whitlock Therapy Pool in 2026 after completing an assessment in 2025 of necessary repairs to reactivate the popular warm water pool. Improvements will begin in the summer of 2026 and will include resurfacing the pool, updating mechanical equipment, and enclosing the chemical storage room to ensure safety for pool guests. Anticipated reopening of the pool is currently early fall of 2026. Check back for construction updates and an opening date.

The Charles Whitlock Recreation Center houses a warm water pool facility offering an array of aqua fitness programs. The typical water temperature within the pool is between 90 and 93 degrees. This temperature promotes increased flexibility and mobility and is excellent for rehabilitation and fitness exercises.
Whether you’re participating in aqua fitness classes, completing rehab exercises or looking for a social outlet, this pool is an excellent option.
