Explore a wide variety of vendors, resources and services for different abilities, including therapeutic recreation, adaptive sports, health care, funding sources, transportation and more! This event will take place Saturday, February 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Charles Whitlock Recreation Center. A sensory friendly time block will run from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Aerobics Room Presentations

  • 10:15 Spelling to Communicate
    • Learn how individuals with autism, apraxia, and other motor-speech challenges are spelling their way to autonomy and connection.
  • 10:30 DIRT Coffee Bar
    • We recently launched a Workforce Connections Center, which is a drop-in center for neurodivergent job seekers! This center is located in downtown Littleton and offers a wide range of services, including job exploration, job search support, digital literacy learning, and more.
  • 10:45 Girl Scouts of Colorado
    • Learn about accessibility for all girls within Girl Scouts
  • 11:00 PASCO
    • PASCO provides home health care services and supports so that every person may live a fulfilled life in their home and community regardless of disability.
  • 11:15 Neuroplasticity through Movement by Ethan Cowan
    • Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to make new connections and LEARN no matter how young, old, or what ability level. Come hear how to achieve neuroplasticity even after brain injury, using movement and awareness!
  • 11:30 DanceAbility Demo
    • DanceAbility welcomes dancers of all abilities, disabilities, and experience levels (from very beginner to professional dancer) to dissolve barriers and connect through dance and movement. Classes provide a safe and supportive environment where students can grow and develop their skills. 
  • 12:00 Feel the Beat Workshop
    • Feel the Beat is a Colorado-based nonprofit and dance studio dedicated to making the experience of music possible for all including those who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and/or with or without disabilities. Come join us for our Low Sensory Jazz class! This class is for dancers who love structure but need calm energy. The class explores jazz fundamentals—kicks, turns, isolations—in a sensory-friendly environment with softer lighting, visual schedules, and an adaptive pace.

  • 10:30 Matia Mobility
    • Matia Mobility will be showing their TEK Standing Mobility Unit at the show and will demonstrate standing, ease of use, and physical benefits.
  • 11:00 Rollout Dance: Inclusive Dance Team
    • Join the Rollout Dance team as you learn a short dance routine!
  • 11:30 The Lockwood Foundation- Chris Layne’s story
    • The Lockwood Foundation is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) community organization dedicated to redefining access to the outdoors. Chris Layne will do storytelling of her journey from falling on a hike and climb In Clear Creek Canyon, suffering a spinal cord injury, to later climbing the tallest peak in Colorado.  It is a story of perseverance, advocacy, and seeking to climb higher still.
  • 12:00 Denver Barbarians Wheelchair Rugby Club
    • Meet members of the Denver Barbarians wheelchair rugby team while learning about wheelchair rugby!
