
The application window for 2026 has closed.
Lakewood will be accepting applications for Youth Program Grants March 1 - April 1, 2026 (closing at 5 p.m.). Grants are offered for up to $50,000 to support qualifying youth programs that make a positive impact on children in Lakewood. The total available funding for 2026 is $350,000.
Youth Program Grant applications will compete directly with all other applications received based on the following criteria:
- Programs and services that serve Lakewood youth
- Registration with the Secretary of State
- 501C3 status
- Minimum 3 years of operation
- Additional consideration will be given to those applications who offer programs and services for underserved populations in Lakewood and/or the business is located in Lakewood.
- Additional consideration will be given to those applications requesting funds for scholarships that are eligible to Lakewood youth.
City staff members supporting youth programming will select projects based on the established criteria. After Lakewood City Council approves the funding, our team will assist applicants with the disbursement process. Please note that reporting on fund usage is required for all awarded projects.
