Youth Police Academy & Discover the Blue

The Youth Police Academy is a fun, fascinating opportunity for teens ages 14-18 to get an introduction to police skills, engage in team building, and build relationships with their School Resource Officers.

Discover the Blue is a free event hosted by the Lakewood PD SROs that takes place 2-3 times per year, and is open to all high-school aged students attending a Lakewood school. Past activities have included hikes, bowling, and snow tubing/sledding.
