The Iron Sharp Community Foundation is excited to host Wash the City., a large-scale community clean-up effort on Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event partners with the Lakewood and Denver Police Departments to clean up multiple miles along Colfax Avenue, mobilizing volunteers and community partners from across the Denver Metro Area. After this event we will host a time of food and fellowship with law enforcement and community partners at the Josephine Mansion.
4/18 Event Timeline:
- 9:30 a.m. - Arrival and check-in at the Hub
- 10 a.m. - Volunteers dispatched to clean up locations
- 2 p.m. - Volunteers return clean up equipment
- 2:30 p.m. - Fellowship post-event luncheon at Josephine Mansion
This will be an unprecedented effort that will forge stronger community and police relationships and create a safer and cleaner community for all.
