On April 15, 2026, Mayor Wendi Strom hosted the 2026 State of the City at the Lakewood Cultural Center. This year’s theme, Together We Thrive, highlighted the power of community, the importance of civic engagement, and the shared commitment to making Lakewood a place where residents, businesses and neighborhoods can succeed together. The address reflected on key accomplishments from the past year and outlined priorities for the future, emphasizing collaboration, transparency and continued investment in the community.
