6th Avenue Bridge Lighting Upgrade

Project Description
This project is installing new projection lighting on all four corners of the RTD W-Line bridge over 6th Avenue.

Upcoming Work
Removal of the existing bridge lighting is expected to start on the night of April 20 and will be finished by the end of the month.

Traffic Impacts
Nighttime lane closures of 6th Avenue will be needed to allow manlift operations and safe removal of the existing lighting over the highway.

Target Project Completion
Removal of the existing lighting is expected to be completed by the end of April. Construction of the new lights is schedule for later this spring and early summer, depending on material availability.
