A night under the stars is closer than you think. Bear Creek Lake Park is home to one of the closest, campgrounds to the Denver metro area. Tents and recreational vehicles are welcome.

Regular camping season is April 1-October 31.Camping reservations for the 2026 season opened Friday, January 2, 2026.
The campground features 47 campsites with electric hookups, 3 cabins, 2 yurts and 1 group site with electric hookups. Amenities include a shared water-fill station and spigots, on-site restrooms, coin operated showers, and a sanitation/dump station.
The campground features 47 campsites which can hold up to six people. Campsites feature a fire ring, a picnic table and electrical hookups. Sites 1-47 have been upgraded to 20/30/50 amp. The group loop has 20/30 amp.
Fees: $40 per night ($6 discount for annual pass holders, includes one vehicle pass.

These circular tents with windows and a skylight can accommodate up to four adults with two single bunk beds, and two additional adults in one tent outside (not provided). There is a table and chairs inside, and an adjacent outdoor picnic table next to a fire ring and a grill. There is no heat or electricity at the yurt. Both yurts have a ramp.

To cancel your reservation, log in to your CivicRec account at this link: https://co-lakewood.civicrec.com/CO/lakewood-co/. 1. Select your Account in the top left corner of the screen. 2. On the right-hand side select Transaction History. 3. Select the tab along the top that says Reservations. 4. Hit the button with three lines on the right of the reservation you wish to cancel. Make sure to select refund it to the card otherwise it will refund your reservation as a credit on your account. If you are having issues with your refund, please call the Visitor Center at (303) 697-6159.

If you are located outside of the United States (including all Canadian addresses), you may experience problems making your reservation. To remedy your issue, you will have to change your online account to be associated with a United States address.
We recommend utilizing our address: 5600 W Morrison Rd. Morrison, CO 80465 United States. Once you updated your address on your account to be a US address you should be able to make a reservation online. Unfortunately, this is currently the best work around we have found for out of the country patrons. If you have any further issues please email bclp@lakewoodco.gov.
