During construction of the new playground, park activities and access will be extremely limited. The picnic shelter may be available for limited use. The playground is anticipated to open on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
One of Lakewood’s oldest parks, Meadowlark Park is home to a playground and swings, as well as a popular sledding hill near McIntyre Gulch.
Big improvements are on the way with a brand-new playground planned for 2026 bringing more opportunities for play, exploration and connection.
