National Public Lands Day

Celebrate the largest national day of volunteer service dedicated to public lands. This volunteer project is part of an effort to keep Lakewood beautiful and takes place in a Lakewood park each year.

The volunteer day will take place from 8 a.m.-noon at the Bear Creek Lake Park.

At Bear Creek Lake Park, volunteers will be tackling trail improvements and planting native vegetation to prevent flooding and preserve natural beauty. Hand tools provided—just bring your energy and love for the outdoors!

This event is part of a county-wide day of service across Jeffco Open Space, CO, with volunteer opportunities happening all over. After the hard work, join us back at Bear Creek for a celebratory gathering with fellow volunteers from across the region!
