W. 20th Avenue Sidewalk and Drainage Improvements Project – Quail Park to Nelson Street

Project Description
The W. 20th Avenue Stormwater and Sidewalk project installs sidewalk, curb and gutter, inlets, and storm sewer pipes on the south side of 20th Avenue from Quail Street Park to Nelson Street. With the installation of storm sewer, the existing ditches and cross culverts on the south side of 20th Avenue will be removed, and the sidewalk will be continuous from Simms Street to Kipling Street.

July 2026 Update

Recently Completed Work
All storm sewer installation has been completed for the project. Sidewalk, curb and gutter, and curb ramps have been completed, and asphalt paving has been completed.

Current Work
Some corrective work on 20th Avenue sidewalk and curb may be required.

Upcoming Work

Traffic Impacts
20th Avenue eastbound has been re-opened to traffic. There may be short-term closures, as needed, for corrective work.

Target Project Completion
