W. 20th Avenue – Vance to Teller streets

Project Description
The traffic signal at the intersection of W. 20th Avenue and Teller Street will be replaced, and new sidewalk and ADA compliant curb ramps will be added on the south side of W. 20th Avenue from west of Vance Street to east of Teller Street to connect the sidewalk gap in this area. Storm sewer pipes will also be added to help mitigate drainage issues in the area. 

July 2026 Update

Recently Completed Work
Retaining walls, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and curb ramps have been installed along the south side of W. 20th Avenue between Teller Street and Vance Street. The new traffic signals at the intersection and all storm sewer improvements have also been installed.

Current Work
The contractor is completing the landscaping and final punch list items for the project.  

Traffic Impacts
Traffic control will include intermittent lane closures at the intersection of W. 20th Avenue and Teller Street to facilitate any reconstruction of items that need to be fixed or corrected.  

Target Project Completion
The project is expected to be completed by the end of July 2026. Significant lane closures should be completed by this time.
