RTD W. Line Bridge at 6th Ave. Uplighting Installation

Project Description
This project installs new projection lighting at all four corners of the RTD W Line bridge over 6th Avenue. The work replaces the existing bridge-lighting equipment. The source describes a lighting upgrade and does not identify additional bridge construction as part of this project.

November 2026 Update

Recently Completed Work
The team removed the existing bridge lighting and installed the new lights. With installation complete, the remaining identified step is to test the new lighting. The team removed existing graffiti from the bridge.

Current and Upcoming Work
Testing will check the newly installed bridge lights before the work is finished. After testing, the project will be considered complete.

Traffic Impacts
No traffic impacts are anticipated in the source update. Residents should continue to follow any posted directions if crews are present for testing or final lighting work.

Target Project Completion
With the new lights installed and testing remaining, the remaining work is expected to be completed by mid-November 2026.
